The Yes concert was
great! I was not sure what
to expect from Yes with a
new singer.
Temporary replacement
singer Benoit David
sounded just like
Jon Anderson.
I will have to admit that, I
have never been a huge
Yes fan.
I cannot remember ever
buying a Yes album or a
Yes concert ticket. This
show definitely made a
Yes fan out of me, if I
wasn't already.
Legendary guitarist Steve
Howe sounded as good
as ever. He even played
a short solo set with a
tribute guitarist Chet
Atkins, including a little
finger pickin. Chris Squire
put on a good show,
besides holding down the
bass. His voice blended
well with new lead singer
Benoit David. Alan White
on drums did an excellent
job. White played on
many of the solo John
Lennon songs back in the
1970's. This was an
excellent show. We
missed the first ten
minutes of the show. I
was told by a guy sitting
next to me that the first
few songs were great. He
told me that he had driven
all the from Chattanooga
to see Yes.
I would definitely go see
Yes again.
