I grew up playing at Coleman Park. I spent many days there. After
getting out of nearby St. Edwards School, we would walk to the park.
My father played softball at Coleman Park when I was a kid. I would
play in the round concrete sandbox (no longer there) while he played
ball. I later took swimming lessons at the old outdoor pool. Growing
up, I also played softball and other activities there. Years later,
I attended a few of the Flatrock Festivals at Coleman Park.
As of 2018, I jog at Coleman Park often, as well as sometimes
using the community center. This is a very nice local area park.
